Summary:
Details: I wanted to do a series about places at the Minot Air Force Base that the average person couldn't enter without proper clearance or getting shot. It took a lot of paperwork, explanations, background checks, agreements and conditions, but, in the end, Sgt. John Esser of Base Public Affairs was able to it pull together. He got me into the places and lined up people for me to interview. My job was to, well, do my job without doing something stupid to breach security or create "an incident."
My goal was to explain the function of these places in an easily understandable manner, explain why they were high security locations and what it all meant to the average viewer.
I had fun doing this series, and I'll always be grateful to Sgt. Esser and all the participants for taking time, energy and patience they gave in making it a success.
