Website Features and Links
A collection of harmless, mindless and just plain silly scripts and programs I've written for the fun of it or to help illustrate an example or two I've discussed in a column. Also, links to related sites.

Darnay's 1980s News Stories
A collection of my favorite news stories I wrote and produced during the 1980s when I worked in local North Dakota television news in Minot, Bismarck and Fargo. The video still looks good, even after more than 20 years.

The Birthday Generator
Type in your name and birthday -- in seconds, you'll get a list of people, events and things you are older and younger than. Neat, quick, fun.

Reverse Webcam
Quick, quirky, harmless and useless page featuring a webcam that's watching the visitor instead of the other way around. The camera light blinks and, every now and then, "takes a picture."

Digital Center Of The Internet
Some sites claim to be the start or end of the Internet -- I'm interested in finding its midpoint. As such, I've developed a "unique" and mysterious algorithm that identifies the exact location on a web page at which all data and traffic on the Internet is equal in all directions from that point. It's all very hush-hush stuff -- if the government found out about the center of the online universe, they might use it for military purposes or, worse, tax it. So, don't tell anybody about this page after you see it. Nobody.

Secret Conspiracy Generator
The conspiracies are all around us. We need only open our eyes and look -- with the help, of course, of my special conspiracy generator. Simply type in the name of the organization, person or object for which you believe is engaged in nefarious activities. Click the "Reveal The Truth" button and you'll get the inside scoop on the plot. But watch out for prying eyes as you read the sensitive information.

Cheap Internet Global Position Locator
After many minutes of research and development, I've created a powerful personal Internet global positioning system. Called "Internet Global User Exact Specific Site," or "I-GUESS," this system can identify with exacting exactness where you are online at all times. Try it out and see how well it finds where you are.

The Homonym Generator
Type in a paragraph or two, click the "Submit" button and many of the words will be changed into their homonym equivalents. The result will be something that sounds right when read aloud but is tough to quickly read visually because of the changes.

Darnay's VR Panorama Photos
A collection of 360 degree photos I've taken. I'm fascinated by panoramic photos -- these images make you feel you're within a boundless photo as opposed to simply viewing a flat, bounded photo. Take a look.
